Ancient Fantasy Long Sword

This custom-made Long Sword is truly unique and exceptional. It is a one of a kind, hand made piece and will not be replicated. Forged in the Arms and Armor Inc. shop. The sword was designed and crafted to appear as if found in a tomb or ruin from a fantastical past.
It incorporates elements of historical swords but with embellishments
inspired by the great works of Fantasy artists of our era. The sword is
large, measuring in over 53 inches in total length from tip of the blade to
spiked pommel. The blade has been heat-treated to a modern quality blade
hardness of 50 RC and it is sharp. The sword is hefty at 5.8 lbs. but is
crafted in such a way that the balance point is at the guard so it handles
very easily and is an exceptional feeling sword in the hand. It is truly a
fighting sword from the annuals of legend.
The whole sword has been aged in a labor-intensive process of cycling through different agents to give it a depth of patina that is only seen in artifacts. The grip is hard wood and deeply craved and aged. It is highlighted by a bronze detail at its mid point. The guard is faced with a skull on each side at the junction of the arms above the blade and set with purple gems for eyes. The ends of the arms are set with grasping claws each with a bared talon. The pommel is a large steel globe carved with symbols and set with a white stone gem and crowned with a deadly spike. A full tang construction allows this sword to be wielded with confidence. All fittings are made of tool steel and then aged; this finish is very durable and only looks better with handling. It is also relatively maintenance free. This is not only a functional longsword but truly a work of fantasy sculpture as well. This is a unique one of a kind opportunity to be the sole possessor of this incredible weapon.
